The most obvious difference is the new voice remote. Like the other sticks, it plugs directly into your TV's HDMI port, and another cable plugs into a USB port for power, or into the wall. So much so that I replaced my Vizio with a TCL Roku TV as my main TV in the Great Room. We designed the Roku operating system (OS) with one goal in mindgetting you to the entertainment you love quickly and easily. After replacing the Vizio SmartCast with a Roku streaming box, I fell in love with the Roku Interfaces speed compared to even a Firestick.
